Brooke C. Sikora, MD

Dr. Brooke Sikora is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, and general medical and surgical dermatology. She developed the Contact Dermatitis Clinic at SkinCare Physicians which focuses on evaluating potential causes of allergic skin reactions through patch testing.  She also is an expert in cosmeceuticals and manages the practice’s products and store. In her clinical practice Dr. Sikora does treatments with injectable fillers, Botox and other neuromodulators, fractional rejuvenation (Fraxel), skin tightening (Thermage), body sculpting, and laser treatments for photorejuvenation, redness and broken blood vessels, brown spots, scarring and tattoo removal.

Dr. Sikora graduated magna cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio before attending Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where she obtained her Medical Degree, graduating magna cum laude at the top of her class.  In medical school, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was the recipient of numerous awards for scholastic achievement.  After finishing a medical internship at Emory University, she completed her dermatology residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Upon completion of her dermatology residency, Dr. Sikora was appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Oregon Health and Science University, where she was actively involved in clinical research and the education and training of dermatology residents and medical students.  Dr. Sikora has also lectured regionally and nationally on a variety of topics to dermatologists and primary care physicians.  Using her knowledge about skin care products and experience in aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Sikora serves as a Beauty Product Expert for Allure Magazine and regularly contributes to other publications such as InStyle, The New York Times, and Women’s Health.

Dr. Sikora is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, New England Dermatological Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She has received numerous awards over the years for excellence in patient care and expertise, including The Best Doctors in America, Patients’ Choice Award, and Compassionate Doctor Award.

When not at work she enjoys traveling, golfing, playing tennis, and spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Sikora was born and raised in Ohio, where much of her extended family lives. She currently resides near Boston with her husband, two young children and many animals.
