Dr. Arndt was one of the featured speakers at The First Ackerman Symposia on Medicine and Culture, a 2 day program presented in April by the Harvard University Division of Medical Ethics. He discussed "The Physicians’s Position in the Age of Consumerism" and reflected on academic medicine and delivery of quality, patient-directed care in the teaching hospital contrasted to an academic private practice such as SkinCare Physicians.
