Schedule a Visit

1. Before you call have the following available

   1. Insurance Card – needed to schedule your appointment.
   2. Primary Physician – the name of your primary physician.

2. Schedule your appointment

   For any appointments, either medical, cosmetic or aesthetic, please call our scheduling department at (617) 848-1640.

   For treatment of minor children (any person under age 18), a parent or legal guardian must attend the initial appointment with the child and all appointments involving invasive treatment. SkinCare Physicians also encourages you to accompany your child to any other appointments, but if you cannot, we must have your consent to see and treat your child in your absence.

3. Prior to your appointment

   Managed Care Insurance Plans require an insurance referral for medical dermatology appointments. Please contact your primary care physician for the insurance referral prior to your visit. Cosmetic and aesthetic appointments are not billable to insurance.

4. Confirm your appointment

   As a courtesy to our patients, we will call, text or email you depending on your preference, a few days prior to your visit to confirm your appointment. Please let us know one business day in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment so we can accommodate other patients. Cancellation fee may be applied if missed appointments are habitual.

5. Your office visit

   • Bring your insurance card and Patient Health History Forms with you on the day of your visit.
   • Take the elevator to the third floor, where our Front Desk staff is waiting to greet you.
