SkinCare Physicians is delighted to welcome our 2025/2026 fellows, Katie Coerdt, MD and Leora Aizman, MD. Both board-certified dermatologists, Dr. Coerdt joins our Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Fellowship, while Dr. Aizman joins our Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship. Over the coming year, they will engage in a comprehensive, hands-on training experience alongside our expert physicians and clinical team. Their fellowship will include advanced work in dermatologic, aesthetic, and laser procedures, Mohs and oncologic surgery, as well as participation in research and academic publications. We look forward to their contributions and achievements as they grow into future leaders in dermatology.
Dr. Katie Coerdt was born in Cleveland, OH and grew up in Novi, Michigan. She graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and selected for the university’s Early Assurance Program. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with honors. She completed her residency training at Cleveland Clinic, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Outside of work, Katie enjoys running, Pilates, and cheering on her favorite sports teams as well as trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. Katie is excited to explore New England this year.
Dr. Leora Aizman was raised in Northern New Jersey and earned both her Bachelor of Science and Medical Degrees through the seven-year BS/MD program at George Washington University, graduating summa cum laude and being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed a clinical research fellowship in cutaneous oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Outside of work, Leora stays active and enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, and spending time with her husband and infant daughter. She looks forward to exploring Boston and its coastal escapes this year.
