SkinCare Physicians’ dermatologists are now using secure online telemedicine visits to evaluate and treat your skin concerns. These virtual visits are just like an office appointment with your own trusted dermatologist, but use a mobile phone, tablet or laptop from the comfort and safety of your home. Examples of skin conditions that can be evaluated during a telemedicine visit include acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, cysts, and even some concerning lesions.
Follow these simple steps to schedule your telemedicine visit at SkinCare Physicians:
Step 1 – You will schedule your appointment by calling our office at 617 731-1600, or emailing us at telemed [@] skincarephysicians.net. Please include date of birth and phone number when emailing.
Step 2 – After scheduling your appointment, you will receive two emails:
1- An email to log in to SkinCare Physicians’ Patient Portal.
2- An email to download the PocketPatient™ app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
Step 3 – Shortly before your appointment you will receive an email inviting you to join your video visit.
IMPORTANT! You CANNOT USE SAFARI as your browser to access the Patient Portal via the web. You must use either FIREFOX or GOOGLE CHROME.
Below are links to instructional videos on how to log in to SkinCare Physicians’ Patient Portal and PocketPatient™ so that you can join your video visit with our practice.
Prior to your telemedicine appointment, SkinCare Physicians’ dermatologists request that you send in digital photographs of the lesion for which you are being seen. The resolution of digital images is far better than what can be seen on videoconferencing, and our physicians rely on this information to assess, diagnose, and treat your skin conditions. Read or watch the following instructions to take your photographs, and then follow the simple steps below to upload your photographs directly to your chart in our online patient portal.
