The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) recently had its 35th Annual Conference, Laser 2015, in Kissimmee, Florida. This year, as usual, many doctors from SkinCare Physicians played a prominent part in the meeting as they have in this organization from its inception. Those involved actively participated in podium presentations of research, planning and moderating courses, delivering talks in multiple teaching sessions and other activities. They were Drs. Arndt, Dover, Kaminer, Rohrer and Robinson, and Fellow doctors Desai, Prather and Kruter.
Examples of topics addressed by SkinCare Physicians’ dermatologists during courses and presentations included:
Non-invasive skin tightening and fat removal.
Optimizing patient outcomes by selecting the most appropriate device or technique for a given indication.
Maximizing patient satisfaction.
Non-invasive treatment of cellulite.
Clinical evaluation of picosecond lasers for the removal of tattoos.
Among those present at Laser 2015, were SkinCare Physicians’ doctors who happened to be founding members, two past presidents, board of directors’ members, program directors, multiple section leaders from several years, members of numerous committees, journal editorial board members, task force leaders, and multiple recipients of honorary awards and lectureships in recognition of scholarly contributions and service to laser medicine and surgery.
