Welcome to our 2022-23 fellows, Dr. Perry Hooper and Dr. Ariel Eber

Dr. Perry Hooper with Dr. Ariel Eber SkinCare Physicians is excited to welcome this year’s new fellows, Dr. Perry Hooper and Dr. Ariel Eber. They will work with our team to gain in-depth hands-on experience in all aspects of cosmetic and dermatologic surgery, as well as laser medicine.

Perry Hooper, MD

Dr. Perry Hooper grew up in western Kentucky. He did his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky, where he received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences and a B.S. degree in Hispanic Studies. Then, Dr. Hooper obtained his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. During this time, he graduated valedictorian of his medical school class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. He subsequently completed a residency in dermatology at Indiana University where he served as chief resident. His research interests include dermatologic surgery, oncology, and energy-based therapies. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats!

Ariel Eber, MD

Originally from Miami, FL, Dr. Ariel Eber did her undergraduate training at the University of Florida and went to Medical School at the University of Miami(UM). She then spent one year in research at the UM Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, followed by her internship in internal medicine at UM/Jackson Memorial Hospital. After all these years in Florida, Dr. Eber moved to New York City to complete her dermatology residency at Columbia University where she served as Chief Resident. Now she lives in lovely Boston with her dog Teddy. In her free time, Dr. Eber enjoys hiking, biking, scuba diving and anything outdoors!

We are looking forward to a great year with both Dr. Eber and Dr. Hooper on our team.
