HydraFacial, the new buzz at SkinCare Aesthetics

Published on Nov 1st, 2018 by Brooke Sikora, MD

women enjoying an hydrafacial treatmentWhat’s the new buzz at SkinCare Physicians? Our SkinCare Aesthetics department is launching HydraFacial!  As technology advances, new devices are being created to achieve optimal results, changing the way routine facials are done.  And who doesn’t love immediate results with no downtime!  This event-ready facial is perfect before special occasions, reunions, or the holidays.

The HydraFacial Company originally pioneered Hydradermabrasion and now HydraFacial, which are popular in over 80 countries around the world.  The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums.  The facial is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective. It is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment.  Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific serums and customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.

As we approach colder months, it’s important to make changes in our skin care routine and treatments.  Clogging and sun damage are two main concerns that the aestheticians at SkinCare Aesthetics see at the end of the summer season.  HydraFacial takes care of both without irritating the skin.  The treatment helps us to remove old buildup with a mild chemical exfoliation and to enhance pigmentation by infusing brightening complex serums deep into the skin.  Dehydration is also something unavoidable with our New England weather.  HydraFacial pushes its “liquid gold” hyaluronic acid deep into the pores to instantly hydrate and plump the skin, allowing you to leave our office with a red-carpet glow.

SkinCare Aesthetics offers two levels of HydraFacial treatment to fit everyone’s needs.

Classic HydraFacial

Our Classic HydraFacial lasts 30 minutes and combines cleansing, extraction and hydration simultaneously. The treatment is soothing, moisturizing and non-invasive.  The skin receives a deep cleanse using a lactic acid solution, followed by a mild glycolic/salicylic peel.  The pores are cleared of congestion and debris, then a multitude of antioxidants and peptides, including Vitamins A & E, white tea extract, and rosemary, are infused to provide you with a firm glowing finish.

Deluxe HydraFacial

Our Deluxe HydraFacial lasts 50 minutes. It provides all the amazing benefits of the Classic Hydrafacial, plus includes extra steps to take care of additional skin concerns with faster results.  Using the HydraFacial vortex fusion technology, our Deluxe treatment pushes customizable boosters, made of highly concentrated clinical serums, deep into the skin to help improve pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and elasticity.  It also may include LED light to help further reduce oily or congested skin and/or soothe irritation and redness after treatment.

Schedule a treatment with one of our aestheticians to see for yourself what all the Hydrafacial buzz is about!
