A new study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine provides data to back up what dermatologists have been advising patients for years: using sunscreen regularly can help to protect skin against aging. The research revealed that participants applying sunscreen every day showed 24% less skin aging. SkinCare Physicians’ Dr. Jeffrey Dover told The Wall Street Journal that this study is a great tool for dermatologists to encourage people to use sunscreen and that he “will quote it every day".
